Contemporary Moves Advanced

Exclusive study group for experienced dancers

The Program

The program is a process oriented learning experience that is centred around contemporary dance and fluid acrobatics. A half a year professional training that is open for any person regardless of age.

The program aims to help each individual to find the way to expand the boundaries of their technical and creative skills. In this new study group, we are going to challenge you into the next level of your dance practice. By gradual exposure to advanced applications of movement principles and theoretical knowledge, you will receive the tools to evolve your personal practice and to reshape your physical relationship with the body-mind.

The program will take place once a week and each day will be for 2 classes of 1.5h (including a short break). A solid background in contemporary dance or other movement discipline is required.

Lawrence Ritchie

By the age of 12 Lawrence started to regularly attend modern wushu classes. Inspired by its very expressive movements he soon discovered the then emerging underground sport of martial-arts-tricking. Many years of intensive training followed, where he gained recognition as a tricking athlete and competitor all around Europe. In the past years Lawrence studied different fields of art where he eventually discovered his passion for contemporary dance. Currently he fuses different styles into a multi-faceted training that is grounded in sustainability and mindfulness.
