Your body has been waiting for this.
The Movement Lab Open day.
A free evening to move, meet, and discover what dance can open in you.
11th of June 2026 / 17:30-20:45
Not a class. Not a trial. A threshold.
Most of us stopped dancing somewhere along the way. Life got serious. The body became a tool we used to get from one place to another. We forgot, or never learned, that it could be something else.
The Movement Lab Open Day is a free evening to experience what dance actually is when it's taught as a human practice: physical, social, alive. No experience needed. No performance expected. Just a genuine taste of what becomes possible when people move together.
Come as you are. Bring someone you think might need this too.

An evening that moves in every sense of the word.
17:30 - Arrival & Welcome
The doors open. Come as you are.
17:45 - Dance Classes with Our Teaching Team
Led by the Movement Lab teaching team. A genuine session, not a demonstration. You will move. You will meet people. You may surprise yourself.
19:15 - Introduction Talk with Matan Levkowich: “How Dance Can Transform Your Life”
Movement Lab founder Matan Levkowich on why dance is not a hobby and what it opens in us when we commit to it.
20:30 - Q&A and Informal Exchange
Ask anything. Talk to students. Sit with what came up.
20:45 - Closing
This evening is for you, wherever you're coming from.
01 - You're curious and a little unsure
The Open Day exists precisely for this. You don't need experience. You don't need to identify as a dancer. You just need to show up and we'll take care of the rest.
02 - You want to feel it before you commit
Our year-long study groups require real commitment. This evening is a genuine encounter with our approach. Come and see if it resonates before you decide anything.
03 - You used to dance and stopped
Life got serious. The body became something you used rather than something you listened to. If there's a part of you that has been quietly missing this, the door is open again.

I have experienced the Movement Lab study group as a unique space for growth, both on a personal and professional level. On a physical level, I developed more strength, endurance, flexibility, resilience, as well as trust in my capacities.
As a group I think we have all deepened our skills of listening, being self-responsible, communicating, expressing, experimenting, and last but not least, to be willing to show up and to connect authentically, with our full being.
Studying with the Movement Lab teached me the connection between movement, dance and communication. I love exploring not only "how" to move but also "why". The principles behind his teaching allow me to experience a wider range of possibilities and to step into the unknown with curiosity. In the studio and in life.
We are always moving, but not always aware of it. By exploring how we move, we also open up avenues of freedom that may otherwise stay stuck in routine.
